Nico was quite chill today when I got home from work.

Nico was a little miffed because Shelly and I went out last night with friends and didn’t get home until 9pm.

Wow, today was simply incredible. Shelly, Nico, a friend, and I paddled out to Bluff Island on Lower Saranac Lake to watch the solar eclipse.

Nico, a friend, and I did some scouting for the eclipse tomorrow.

Nico knows cameras and photos mean treats. :-)

Shelly is away for the weekend, leaving just us boys at home.

Nico is one cool dude.

I had a full day in the field today.

This rock behind the fireplace in our backyard is one of our favorite spots to pose for photographs.

For the first time in a long time, I’ve strayed from my favorite lens for this series, the Sony 50mm F1.2.

I’ve been grinding away at some big projects at work, which has kept me away from home for more than normal.

Nico enjoyed soaking up the afternoon sun on his bench.

Nico was very excited to play with his toys this evening.

I walked downstairs this evening to find Nico lying on the couch like this.

Nico enjoyed spending some time outside in the afternoon in the sun and warmer temperatures.

It was a very snowy day here in Saranac Lake.

I’ve had a few late nights at work this week.
