Nico’s fur looks black at first, but he’s actually very dark brown with patches of black. His snout is black, along with a strip down the middle of his back. The more time he spends in the sun the lighter his browns turn, making it easier to see the differences in his fur color. In areas that don’t get as much sun, such as the side of his neck, his browns stay darker.
