Day 1,174
This photo series is challenging to stay on top of, especially considering my regular job takes a considerable amount of time, even beyond normal working hours. Rarely do I get to put intention behind an image, I’m lucky if I have enough time to even capture a technically good photograph of Nico. It took me a long time to be content with this fact. When I do have time to engaged in the full creative process of a photograph, from considering the location, shooting, and editting, it reminds me of why I really enjoy photography. It also reminds me of why I started this project, which was to celebrate and document Nico’s life, and not just his final days as I did with Khyber. I know that at some time in the future, when Nico is gone, I’ll very much enjoy having these images to look back on.

There are a lot of camera-carrying systems on the market. If you want to attach your camera to a backpack, you’ve likely come across the Peak Design Capture Clip. But there is a lesser-known product out there that is way more versatile: the Ulanzi Falcam system.
