Day 1,173

It rained all night and through most of the day. Nico was perfectly content to stay all snuggled up with Shelly and I in our tent. He tolerated hanging out under the tarp over our cooking area. We really appreciate that Nico is content to just hang out with us and doesn’t complain. If he is tired he’ll ask to go in the tent and will lay in there all by himself for hours. We do laugh about him being a danty fellow when it comes to the rain. We have to escort him out of the tent or from under the tarp to encourage him to go to the bathroom, sometimes reminding him numerous times that he needs to do both numer one and number two. The forecast for tomorrow looks wonderful and I’m sure Nico will enjoy the sunshine and opportunity to go for a swim.
