Avalanche Lake

Avalanche Lake is one of the most dramatic and beautiful lakes in New York State. The lake is flanked by Avalanche Mountain to the northwest and Mount Colden to the southeast. Cliffs hundreds of feet high descend off both mountains directly to the lake.
