Cold days are great for hanging out on the couch.

Despite the cold, Nico, Shelly, and I took a hike out to Holcomb Pond this morning as part of our participation in the Christmas Bird Count.

I’ve been away during the week for work as Shelly, and I prepare for a move to Lake George.

Nico and I went for a jaunt through the woods this afternoon.

One advantage of working from home is the ability to take a walk in the woods during our lunch break.

It’s a good day when you’re running through the woods with snow on your nose.

Nico doesn’t have much thermal protection so when the temperatures drop there isn’t much for him to do but laze away on the couch.

It was too cold today for Nico to spend more than a few minutes in the yard at a time.
