Day 965
I sold all my Nikon camera gear several years ago when I switched to Sony. Since then, I haven’t had a flash to help with low-light situations. I got myself a Godox V1s on-camera flash, knowing we have several more months of limited natural light. Honestly, I’ve never used flash or lighting for dog photographs. All my previous flash photography experience was around shooting macro photography of plants. Almost all of my professional work is of landscapes, wildlife, and nature, which do not require a flash. Adding a flash will open up more options for the A Photo A Day For Life series and allow me to broaden my photography skills. And so here is Nico lounging among his blankets on this couch this afternoon as I was testing out the flash.
There are a lot of camera-carrying systems on the market. If you want to attach your camera to a backpack, you’ve likely come across the Peak Design Capture Clip. But there is a lesser-known product out there that is way more versatile: the Ulanzi Falcam system.
