Day 1,400
Winter has made a brief return. Nico, Shelly, and I went for a walk in the woods before the snowstorm really hit. We also checked on the ice on Lower Saranac Lake. There are seven inches of ice in most places, but I recommend staying off it now. Warmer temperatures will return later this week and areas near springs, inlets, or outlets will be especially dangerous. We only ventured a few feet out from shore to check the thickness.

There are a lot of camera-carrying systems on the market. If you want to attach your camera to a backpack, you’ve likely come across the Peak Design Capture Clip. But there is a lesser-known product out there that is way more versatile: the Ulanzi Falcam system.
