Day 1,386

The ice on our lakes is nearly perfect for skating right now. I took Nico on his first longer ice skating session. We did a 3.5-mile loop around the islands on Lower Saranac Lake. My previous dog, Khyber, wasn’t a big fan of running on the smooth ice. Nico hammered it and quickly figured out how to run without sliding around. He was one very content and tuckered pup by the time we finished.
