When I was a student at Paul Smith’s College, I had a work-study position in the library. When I graduated, one of the librarians gave me Oh, the place you’ll go by Dr. Suess. I like to keep it on this bookshelf in our living room so I can see the cover every day. I read Nico this book before we sent him off to Upstate Canine Academy. And occasionally, I’ll sit in the kitchen and read it aloud. It’s a good reminder of the adventure that life is and to embrace both the ups and downs. I think we all would benefit from reading Dr. Suess from time to time.
