Day 1,361

The deer have been digging through the snow in our yard to go after moss and other things buried beneath. Nico spends a good thirty minutes or more sniffing and digging around where the deer have been. It’s a good bit of mental and olfactory stimulation for him. He also sniffs every single one of their footprints in the yard while he is at it. I assume he knows each deer that comes through our yard just by their scent.
