Day 1,315
We had a small group of friends over for a Friendsgiving today, which was very exciting for Nico. Whenever he gets overstimulated, he is a bit of a crazy man, so we use these opportunities for training. Nico stays on leash with me when folks come over, and we work on the heel, sit, down, and stay, which allows Nico to focus his energy on his obedience rather than being crazy. Once the initial excitement of new people wears off, which is around 10 minutes or so, I’ll give him the break command, which lets him know he can do what he pleases. At that point, he’s calmed down and ready to interact with everyone politely. We really should have friends over more often so we can have the repetition necessary for Nico to learn to remain calm.
Many thanks to my Patreon supporters for making this photo series possible. Nico and I spend more than an hour each day working on this project; without Patreon, we wouldn’t be able to keep this going.

There are a lot of camera-carrying systems on the market. If you want to attach your camera to a backpack, you’ve likely come across the Peak Design Capture Clip. But there is a lesser-known product out there that is way more versatile: the Ulanzi Falcam system.
