Shelly and I had to run errands a little over an hour away from home today. Nico joined us for the drive. He typically whines a lot when we drive anywhere, but today, he was quiet most of the time. I think he whines because, typically, a drive means going somewhere fun. I’ve been considering going for random drives with him to help him learn that sometimes a drive is just a drive and that it's okay to relax.
