Day 1,277
Getting home past sunset means we must get creative with Nico’s daily photo. Over the last several months, I’ve taught myself flash photography and off-camera lighting. These shots of Nico catching treats are a lot of fun for both of us to create. My treat pouch has some freeze-dried chicken hearts from a client shoot I did this weekend. Nico has been reaping those benefits this week, including with this catch. I typically use kibble for training with him, with a few extra tasty bits mixed in.
By signing up for my Patreon, you will help make sure Nico has plenty of treats to catch, and I’m able to capture plenty of photos of him doing so.

There are a lot of camera-carrying systems on the market. If you want to attach your camera to a backpack, you’ve likely come across the Peak Design Capture Clip. But there is a lesser-known product out there that is way more versatile: the Ulanzi Falcam system.
