Day 1,254
I decided to channel a bit of Christian Vieler’s work, which you should check out if you aren’t familiar with it. He takes amazing photos of dogs catching treats. Unfortunately, I don’t have a nice studio setup to work with. Instead, I’m shooting in the small living room of our house, built in the late 1800s. When I was shooting landscape photography, I never had a need or desire to have a studio. Now that I’m focusing primarily on dogs, I long for it. The ability to professionally light portraits would be amazing. If you want to help support this lifelong photography project and my ability to get even better photos of Nico, consider supporting me on Patreon. Many thanks to my current Patreon supporters, who have helped me purchase the gear necessary to add off-camera lighting to my toolkit.

There are a lot of camera-carrying systems on the market. If you want to attach your camera to a backpack, you’ve likely come across the Peak Design Capture Clip. But there is a lesser-known product out there that is way more versatile: the Ulanzi Falcam system.
