Day 1,141

Shelly and Nico became officially trained Adirondack Lake Assessment Program volunteers today. They helped me fill in for volunteers on Middle Saranac Lake. I was a bit hesitant to bring Nico along because he tends to want to stand while in the canoe. He did so well though. He either sat or laid down the entire time, much thanks to all our training work. He also didn’t flip is getting in or out of the canoe while excited by all the people at the launch. We took him out on Lower Saranac Lake afterward as a reward so he could go swimming.
