Day 1,137

Nico had a wonderful evening out on the lake. For whatever reason, he has really taken to retrieving in the water. You can see the look of pure focus on his face in this photograph. Interestingly, we don’t see this type of focus from him when retrieving on land or during pretty much any other time. We’re hoping we can continue progressing with his comfort in the water, getting him to the point where he’ll jump in the water off an object. Today we practiced retrieving past a submerged log requiring him to climb over the log to get the Ruffwear lunker toy.
