Day 1,127
Nico, Shelly, and I made a trip to the big city of Plattsburgh today to pick up home improvement supplies at Lowe’s. Nico shopped at the garden center with us and did excellent. We overhead several people saying how well behaved he was being and a few folks even came up to comment on his behavior. He did really well staying in a heel as we walked around and holding a sit even as people pushed shopping carts within inches of him. A few people wanted to pet him but we politely asked them not to as we’re working real hard at teaching him that he doesn’t need to say hi to everyone. We even had a dog in a cart behind us in the check out line and he didn’t go nuts. I give him a solid A for his behavior today. He’s made huge improvements since going off to college at the Upstate Canine Academy.
