Day 1,065

It was warm enough out for Nico to be panting from running around out in the field with me this afternoon. He also had a huge accomplishment today, which was walking about 30 feet across a fallen log to cross a stream. Nico isn’t very confident and in the past we had a hard time showing him that he can do things that are a bit scary at first. I feel like our new approach to training is not only helping him build confidence in himself but it’s also building his confidence in our relationship. He’s seems to be recognizing that if I ask him to do something he’ll be ok. And of course, lots of positivity and treats helps.
