Day 1,016

Nico came to the office with me this morning. We’re continuing to solidify being neutral, calm, and respectful at work. We’re still working on Nico holding a ‘sit stay’ when new people walk into a room or space, and he isn’t on a leash. I’m also working on various approaches to help him settle while at the office. He is a little whiner face most of the day. At times, this is because he needs to go potty, but when we go outside, he is so distracted by all the movement and noises that he doesn’t go. I’m considering getting the same bed he has at home for my office, which he loves to snuggle up in. I also think an office crate might help him settle, especially when I need to leave him for a few minutes. One thing is certain, though; being at the office makes him pass out for the rest of the day.
