Day 1,000

It's hard to believe that we are 1,000 days into our journey with Nico and this project to document every day of his life. It would have been nice to get out on an adventure with him today, but it is frigid here in Saranac Lake. Instead, Nico went to our local Tractor Supply to practice his obedience in an area with distractions. He did a great job holding a sit in the middle of the store with things happening around him. I'm also working on developing my skills at using a flash in an outdoor setting to hopefully create some epic shots in the future. Nico could only tolerate a few minutes outside before his paws started getting cold, so I'm happy we got this shot of him out in the yard.
