Did you know that playing can be a form of reward when working with your dog? Nico’s trainer at Upstate Canine Academy mentioned to us how much he loves to play tug and that we can use that drive as a form of reward. We recently bought one of the tug toys they used when working with Nico. Not only is it a positive reward for him, it also gets out a lot of his pent up energy.
