This is Nico’s way of reminding me that I should be playing with him more. While I don’t enjoy not being able to hang with him all day, it is always enjoyable to open the door at the end of a long day to see this little face right on the other side. Nico especially likes to talk to me when I get home. Sometimes, it's a few little groans; other times, he starts singing. After his vocalizations, he usually moves on to a toy. That’s the beauty of being a dog. All they need is companionship and play to fulfill their day.
