Day 1,331

When Nico has slobber on his face, it’s a sure sign he’s having a good time. After a day of not running through the woods, Nico was eager to go full throttle this afternoon. He’s also getting better at jumping onto and balancing on logs. I’ve been using his ‘place’ command for the past few months to practice him jumping onto random things in the woods. Besides being useful for photos, this is also helpful for navigating rugged terrain because I can tell Nico where he needs to jump. Tomorrow, I go back to work, so Nico’s going to readjust to a less stimulating lifestyle for a while.
