I’m halfway through a two-week staycation. I think Nico may have a difficult time adjusting to me going back to work. Normally we wake up at 6 am to go for a walk around the neighborhood before work. This past week we’ve traded early morning walks in the neighborhood for mid-day walks in the woods. I walk about a mile during each of our outings, and Nico probably puts in two miles of running. Burning off some of his energy in the middle of the day has made him much calmer around the house. We get back from our walks around 2 pm and he is typically passed out until dinner time.
