Day 1,152

Pure focus while working in his “office.” If you look closely, you can see the window Nico loves to look out of reflected in his eye. This is one of the things I love about my Sony A7RIV combined with the Sony 50mm f1.2 GM lens. I can capture incredible detail with 64 megapixels of resolution and one of the sharpest lenses I’ve ever worked with. Several years ago, I sold my older Nikon gear to purchase my Sony camera, and I’ve been thrilled with that decision. I had to step back in some aspects of my photography because I couldn’t afford to replace all the Nikon lenses and bodies I had. When you consider hiring a photographer or buying a photograph to hang on your way, it’s important to recognize the investment in equipment and time that goes into making good images. It’s taken me two decades and thousands of dollars of equipment to capture a highly detailed image of a dog looking out a window under natural light. It may seem simple, but it is far from it. I’m especially thankful for those who have supported me on Patreon; they have made all this possible.
