I took the day off work to hang out with Nico, which is an excellent way to spend the day. Of all the dogs I’ve known, Nico is the most interested in being right next to either Shelly or me. Khyber was way more attached to me but more along the lines of following my lead. He would follow me anywhere, do anything I asked, and never complain. Nico is more independent thinking, but when it’s time to relax, he wants to be right next to us. Both qualities are endearing and have their benefits. Khyber was a dream to go on adventures with because he looked for guidance; Nico is a dream to relax with because he’ll snuggle up next to you on the couch all day and be perfectly content. At the end of the day, it all boils down to the fact that life is better with a dog around.
