Sometimes Nico has to thoroughly sniff his toys before deciding whether to play with them. This toy didn’t pass the test; he turned a walked away right after this photo was taken. The black flies have been so bad in our yard today that every time Nico comes inside, a bunch emerge from his fur. His chest and crotch, where his fur is the thinnest, are all chewed up.
